Are these taken hand held or tripod?

Sunil,

Thanks for asking, both were taken handheld, in DNG format, ISO 200.

the Birds -  @ 193mm, F8.0- 1/250th

the sheep - @ 226mm, f 16 - 1/160th

Lightly processed in LR5

Note: the following comment is not aimed at you, rather, it is  aimed in frustration at so many others who mindlessly criticize & dismiss the two native zooms as being needlessly large and "why , Oh, why" won't / can't evil ol' Leica make them smaller, lighter, cheaper and less noticeable / aggressive / obtrusive, etc. These are fast, very sharp autofocus, stabilized lenses with the highest image quality in their respective classes of lenses, and what's more, which so far in my experience haven't shown the slightest inclination to turn into the loose, sloppy and inaccurate zooms of similar focal length with similar features, but smaller, lighter, cheaper and less noticable construction as offered by other manufacturers.

Wow, pretty amazing handheld. Makes me want to head out and immediately acquire the SL and zoom. Thanks for posting.
