Clarifying - The lens was a loaner from the Boston Leica store.  I used it on a photo walk through Chinatown.

I was surprised that I liked the lens as much as I did, but it will take a bit of time to make the decision.

No downsides, but I'm wonder  how much will I use this lens. It would be nice, though, to get a 1 week loaner to test when I'm in Amsterdam and Dortmund next week :).

I was offered one yesterday. Some dealers seem to have gotten a few in this week. I declined. I wasn't sure either how much I would use it and I prefer to use the M10 a lot more now because I find its files to be more malleable. I did put down my name for the SL2, though, expected sometime next year. The 16-35 SL would have been perfect for Dortmund, I guess. :) Encountered some art nouveau at a Dortmund coal mine today. I had the M10 with a 28 and a 35 with me.
