Thank you, Charles. You are flattering me. I am a complete amateur. 

This is an impressive juniper with massive deadwood. The picture shows this very nicely.

ancient Sandstone Caves near by the Harz mountains.

 

BTW: it took me about 5 minutes by ca from the monastery to the car park of the caves (and about 45min walking).
