#1 is uncropped with SL and Canon Macro 180 mm, #2 is a very modest crop of another photo with SL , the Canon 180 Macro and an additional Kenko 1, 4  Extender, #3 is a stronger crop of #2. The lotus was in a small pond,  I could not come nearer for #3. It would have been no problem to make this photos with the SL and the 90/280, but that was not with me when I took these pictures - I expected rather to use the macro lens for real macros of small blossoms.

Do you mean the camera was handheld against the supported 'scope eyepiece?
