Lovely: reminds me of Eliot Porter's work--he was my favorite naturalist photographer.

Wow, Rob. That could hang on wall! Great photograph.

Thanks, Ken. SF is so picturesque, particularly with the early morning fog.  And, that S 120 lens is one heckuva lens on the SL as well.   Back home today.  Rob

Wonderful depth of field, very nice composition, beautiful light !

What was the lense used ?

Thank you very much!

Often i am using only the 16-35 when i am scouting new spots like here. In this case i worked with Formatt Hitech polarizer and Soft ND 0.9 too.

"Sidekick" and off topic ....this river is part of of a wild water kajak route, and  i know that but in this case did not realize it, and as i began to take photos i was looking for a "safe" place for my backpack. When i realized that i was getting (really) wet shoes while standing on the rocks   i had to hurry up  to get to my backpack-> on the last meters i saw the water getting INTO my packpack... in the end the lenses were safe, only my wallet, my backpack and spare clothing got wet.
After this my scouting ended and  i went home....
