You can see the path to the L of middle (where the shadows start) heading towards the green patch of trees (now cut down) and the road and parking is where the trees end on the left. It's a 2km walk rising 350m to the ridge where most photos are taken from. Doesn't take long and for half the way the path has been much improved in the last few years. Bear in mind this shot is W/A and it's not as far as it looks. All you need is good weather ...... which is the real problem in Skye ...... it's either settled and fine in which case you get eaten alive with midges or 'changeable' when it is a bit of a lottery...... you can leave the car in sunshine and end up in a snowstorm by the time you get to the top .... We had 5 days of very occasional sun, intermittent to torrential rain and gale force winds to contend with..... and it was COLD.

Reminds me of home :) :)

I think your white balance might be a little off there? It looks like there is a yellow cast to it.

Thank you for your feedback, good observation. Here's another copy with some adjustment...

Flags -- we're heading into Independence Day, when the hills around are filled with meat grilling over open fires, houses are decorated, and the cars sport flags that look uncomfortably like they belong on a German general officer's staff car:
