Very interesting portrait/headshot. I wonder, though, how pronounced the facial hair would be if it had been taken with a MF camera like the X1D.

No issue with your photo. I think it's wonderful. It's just that in the thread "Leica SL or Hasselblad X1D" some people have been drooling over the XD1's better IQ vs. the SL not considering that in shots like you posted here the X1D files would show swaths of make up on facial hair.
