Hey Mark,

This area of Florida has some of the most beautiful white sand beaches found anywhere in the world, and the temperature was in the 70s when I took this picture on Sunday... but don't tell anyone.   :)

I finally had the chance to be well acquinted with my SL & both native zooms (24mm-90mm / 90mm-280mm) in a four weeks trip family holiday. I enjoyed the SL with AF function through my trip without taking out my Noctilux which I took along.

Below picture taken with my SL + 24mm-90mm + SF58 (off camera flash) which my daughter was enjoying Kyoto's beautiful autumn season.

Gdansk Oliwa, yesterday, 24-90 .....

Apologies .......resizing this on my iPad doesn't work properly ....... and just seems to produce a degraded image that is stretched to the original iPad size ............ useless heap of crap..

Try Lightroom mobile. It's free, although Photos is supposed to be able to handle DNGs from the SL.

As I was on a trip with my family, minimalistic logistics were necessary. I relied on a 3m length Photonix (Nikon compatable) hotshoe extention cord. Full manual settings give me best control to just 'fill in' light necessary for subject while keeping overall exposure controlled. HSS is used to fill in subjects when environment allows shutter speed beyond 1/125 flash sync speed. I use that to tackle strong backlight situation which I can desirably reduce background by 1/3 EV and fill in my subject appriately. I also use a selfy stick to extend my flash to desired angle with one hand and holding camera with another. With AF function, my way of off camera flash go alot easier.

........ I have LR and Photoshop fix apps but neither will resize to forum sizes ...... and no apps do bicubic or better reduction and allow you to control size and jpg quality. They all use some crappy form of shrinkage that produces really rubbish unsharp images. I'm on my 8th app (free or at minimal cost) and none so far do what I want ...... which is essentially very simple. ☹️
