How to upload images: Prepare the image as follows: 1.   The image should be sRGB and 8-bits 2.   Reduce the size to 2048 pixels on the longest side. (smaller sizes can be set, but are not recommended) 3.   Sharpen properly for screen. 4.   Save as JPG to your desktop, reducing JPG quality to produce 2000 kB (5000 kB for sponsoring members). 5.   In Lightroom these parameters should be set in the Export dialog. 6.   In the Forum posting or editing box, click “choose Fil

do you have more photos of Ely ? I was there 20 years ago for the last time. And I remember the time in Cambridge always as the best of times. So I'd very much like to see more pictures of it (here or offline).

Thanks for showing this photo. I like the idea of it very much. But do you like the bokeh of the lens ?   

So again, thank you for showing it, we can learn a lot from it about the apo50. Sorry.

I really love the bokeh of the 50 APO - but the thing about the lens is its not such what's blurred that is so great, it is how sharp what's in focus is. Love it with the M, but I am really enjoying using it with the SL, for the obvious fact that the EVF works like a dream.  I have a Noctilux at Leica NJ after having suffered a fall on concrete (it's ok, just has some dents on the shade) and I can't wait to be able to use it with the SL.  Great camera to use with these M lenses.
