Very nice Geoff.

Did you ever photograph Cazneaux's "Spirit of Endurance" tree?

cheers  Dave S

Sorry, Dave.  Since it's a copyrighted photo I had to delete it.  But here's a link to it:  http://www.artgallery.nsw.gov.au/collection/works/134.1975/

This one is Little Bay, Sydney with MM/28 Cron.

The painting sculpture is in recognition of the Christo and Jeanne-Claude 'Wrapped Coast' 1969 project, something I'd never heard of until I paid more attention to the sculpture.

Thanks for posting this. We haven't done the Little Bay coast walk yet.

The Wrapped Coast was indeed very famous. I recall it from when I was only 7!

I recall that was one of the iconic locations in the area, David and on the drive circuit. I have been twice but both of these trips were sometime back and the first one where I remember that icon being an ambition. May well be images squirrelled away in my film archives somewhere. Someone come organise all 30 or forty thousand for me! I didn't have any Leica gear then though. That trip was about 30 years ago. No sealed roads around the circuit then either.

Yes, I photographed it perhaps 40 ya.  It was very sick then, so I doubt it still stands, but will have a look next time.

Thanks for the reply though, cheers  Dave S

Thanks Stuart, for correcting my error.

I thought citing the © holder would be appropriate.

Another little Platypus habitat...

cheers and enjoy Australia Day on Tuesday, Dave S

It's the sort of image, which to me, would work also, with a bit of dodging.  Add some extra light.  Bring up some bright points in the rocks for example...very easy in LR and really make your own creation.  But I like yours of course!

Very nice. Subtle colours.

I find it very difficult photographing some Australian bush scenes close up because there is so fine detail (dare i say clutter) with small leaves, twigs, and debris.

How are you liking the M262 c/w the M9 (if you still have it)?
