geofftucker Posted October 20, 2015 Share #1 Posted October 20, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) If you were going to go from the D-Lux to a Leica with interchangeable lenses, would the Model T be the next logical step in doing that? earleygallery Posted October 21, 2015 Share #3 Posted October 21, 2015 Unless you want to give up autofocus, or have a lot of money to spend, and don't mind carrying a very large camera around, then T is the only fully Leica option, or another option, M4/3rds body with the Leica lenses from Panasonic. can-photo Posted October 22, 2015 Share #4 Posted October 22, 2015 I went from X1 to T, and very happy about it. i still have them both, X is more compact so has its own use, but T is overall an amazing camera. You just need to use and see the photos to appreciate the quality of the camera.
Louis Posted October 23, 2015 Share #5 Posted October 23, 2015 I did go from DLux (3,4,5,109) to T and I am very happy. The camera is very beautifully built and the sensor is much larger than DL, giving you much more superior photos. I loved 109, but I had some problems with it. Now, with T, I am only using the old MF lenses that I had and the pictures I get are really sharp with very pleasing colors. Of course, shooting with T is very different from 109. It is much slower because of manual lenses, but you get used to it.
