Peter Kilmister Posted August 21, 2015 Share #2 Posted August 21, 2015 I just take DNGs. Some people prefer to take DNG and JPG.
Echo63 Posted August 21, 2015 Share #3 Posted August 21, 2015 DNG Only almost everything else gets changed as needed
Cliff S Posted August 21, 2015 Share #4 Posted August 21, 2015 I like to also take JPGs with the DNGs. Storage is free. Makes it easy to review in Preview to get a quick idea of which are the keepers. And then I sort the DNG's based on that so I don't import 100's of shots into Lightroom. I've been adding a +1 for JPG contrast. It tends to make the JPGs read better.
AlanJW Posted August 21, 2015 Share #5 Posted August 21, 2015 DNG only except when I know in advance I may be sharing via email. Auto WB. ISO 200. Everything else standard. Clactonian Posted August 21, 2015 Share #10 Posted August 21, 2015 Not bothered. I bought the Leica to slow me down! Besides I rarely use the advanced metering.

bocaburger Posted August 23, 2015 Share #19 Posted August 23, 2015 What do you hate invention or something? No, just intervention Idrc what the capture medium is, digital is fine, I just don't like technology littering the way between me and photography. Mornnb Posted August 24, 2015 Share #20 Posted August 24, 2015 Only major feature I disable is video mode. I bloody hate that M button. Mostly I use Classic metering, but will occasionally change to Advanced in challenging lighting conditions.
