I didn't use my 30mm very much in Japan but looking at this last image the corners look very soft even though it was stopped down to f4.8 and shot at ISO100 1/125.....anyone else see this ??

I've noticed very strong field curvature in my S35 and S30 (which I no longer own) and sometimes even the S45, but it doesn't happen all the time. I'm confused by this too. I've sent my S35 back for evaluation. The official MTF curves do suggest some field curvature but what I've seen at smaller apertures has been surprising.

But in your photo it's probably just normal focus depth.

Beautiful! Contax is quite good!

I also have:

35/45/120/140/210 from Contax

I think the 140 is not so good for landscape usually... you really need F8, normally I use 140 for portraits only. For landscape I use the 120 mostly, but I didn't bring it so I used 140mm at F8 :)

I have the 35 45-90 80 120 and 210

My favorite are the 35, 45-90 and 120. I use it with GFX and IQ3 100mp nowadays.

Love the 120 too for landscape!

Here is an image for those who have taken part in the various debates re Hasselblad lenses. S007 with the HC 300/f4.5 (shot wide open, lit by daylight alone).
I like this lens a lot (even and especially wide open). I also like how well it integrates with the S system via the Leica adapter. I was able to buy it second hand, in mint condition, for about 1/3 of the new price...which nicely rounds the list of my likes  :)
