A rare double rainbow in late afternoon, Sarasota, FL. I pulled down the highlights and whites in LR to bring out the color in the sky. Leica S007 and Contax Zeiss 45mm lens with adapter, f/4.8 and 1/60 sec.

Another shot from my first days with the Leica S007. I just let the meter determine exposure on the multi-field setting. 80mm Contax Zeiss lens with adapter, f/ 9.5 at 1/125 second exposure. This is basically a straight pull out of the camera with no adjustments.

Ah... cool! Such fortuitous timing. Thanks for posting as it both beautiful and rare.

I have only a couple of times been able to catch a decent single  rainbow over the years. Last year, I finally got my double rainbow  and I could actually see tiny traces of a third. But the location and foreground were not nearly as nice as in your image.:)

Did you ever print one of your exceptional pictures? what I think about how much better such a picture is with the S than FF in print quality...?

I have, but I think the difference between the S and either SL or M10 is more in the monitor.  I use an iMac with an LG UltraWide monitor.  The Retina display on the iMac looks great, but it's actually a two layer enhanced image and prints look different.  The LG monitors come color calibrated and use sRGB colors.  The image on screen is the same the printer will see.  I have not yet used the services of a professional printer.
