Two cones on path.

A "nothing" subject but damn, I love the way the S(006) renders in Capture One.  I've owned my S(006) for almost 10 years and use several other cameras but the S still takes my breath away sometimes with it's color.

Hey guys,

With life being busy and focus in life not exactly laying on the photography field at the moment I can finally say I understand the posts I used to read back when I was 17-18 and just joined this forum with my M8. Older men (not calling myself old lol) complaining they had been out of photography and life took a busy turn and they had no time in the past few years for photography.

I wanted to post some Leica S images from 2024 here, only for me to realize I only have 20 or so images in total taken with Leica S in 2024...

Anyway here are some images from 2024.

Leica S (Typ 007) and Summarit-S 70mm ASPH. CS

@jip nice to see your posts here! I read your blog countless times and it motivated me to get into the S system as soon as I will be able to do it! Are you fully transitioned from S006 to 007? happy with the performance in 2025?

WOW.  The pixel count is impressive even if you cannot see it on this forum.  Would love to see something like that on a large monitor or better yet on a humungous print.

Often times these images don’t end up in a print, but architectural photographs stand a better chance. I have a very large image of the city hall in the town where I live hanging at the very place. It was also taken with the S. Most of the architectural work I do happens with a Phase One IQ4 back and a technical camera or the Phase XF.
The S is a very nice camera for this kind of work because of its autofocus and the high ISO capability. This image was shot handheld and is a stitch of several verticals with the 70 mm

Laura, framed in shadow and light, draped in the deep hues of the night. The MGA Twin Cam sets the perfect scene—sleek, timeless, and full of character. This shoot was all about contrast: the glow of red against the dark, the sharpness of reflections, and the mystery in her gaze.

Captured with the Leica S3 and Summicron-S 100mm f2, using multiple Harlowe Creators LED
