Despite it's weight and size, I just tested and found the S006 w/35mm, 120mm and a light-weight tripod doable for hiking with tent, sleeping bag ++ in the back pack, although not as convenient as the SL+24-90 combo or, clearly, the CL with the 11-23mm and/or 18-56mm zooms (or other cropped/full frame systems). I never fell in love with the CL, however, so I am currently (mainly) using the SL and S006.

S006+35mm during day #2 of the hike; nothing special of course, but a memory nevertheless from my first real hike with the S...

Its unfortunate that on both shots the ball happened to cove the players face......apart from that a nice shot

Out of respect for the player’s privacy, Rob had to cover some parts of the picture. He went for the face which, I guess, is fine.

Thanks . . . I was just experimenting with auto focus and the quickness of the 007 for action.  3.5 fps . . . it was decent enough for my purposes.

I'm sure Neil was aware . . . but next time I'll use a yellow oval blot when it involves tennis.

With a view towards the Barents Sea. Too lonely, too windy, too cold. And with broken power supply. S006 + 70mm.
