Part of me would like to develop my B&W portrait skills more but many more times than not I always prefer the results in colour. I think it takes a lot more skill to shoot effectively in B&W, especially with portraiture. Sometimes though a subject just lends themselves perfectly to B&W, as with this chap, Steve, a real 'Guern' (indigenous to Guernsey as opposed to merely resident) and all round Hemingway-esque character.

I bought the 120. As to be expected of S lenses, it is a fantastic lens. I have been using it in a variety of ways to get a good overview of capabilities. AF is slower than the other S lens, however that is not a big factor for me.
