A beautiful oof rendering! It's quite hard to get this with a FF-sensor, although the SL 50mm-Lux might be there.

I went downtown to drop off the official portrait of my wife (ex-president of the New York County Lawyer's Association, now a federal magistrate judge) when I saw this view. I later went back to the intersection to get a capture:

 

Leica S(007), Contax 140/2.8 @ f/5.6 (My S lenses are getting their motors upgraded) 

 

 

The portrait, by Mark Mann, is extremely cool. Yes, that's Mike Tyson looking on....

if you’re going to get one make sure you get the S007. It’s tons times better than the S006

I’m hoping that they make it more intrusive like the Leica TL2 with touch screen and less nobs

The S006 is cheaper than a second hand M240 camera here in Shanghai... So it's a good bargain.

S rendering is one of the reason I love about this system. It is not the quantity of the bokeh but quality

 

The S section of forum has a lot of negative energy. I just want share some joy here.

Just looked through, only about 100 images with M(240) and Monochrom since then and that was mostly on a weight limited flight!

An image from a trip four years ago to Big Sur, California.  This is a jpg straight from the camera, I was playing Jr. Ed Weston sending my jpg files to an EyeFi WiFi card in B&W.  This way I could look at the results on my iPad as I shot instead of the small screen.  S2-70mm 1/4 @f22 ISO 160  Trying to figure out the best resolution for posting to this forum.  I love the image quality from S lenses!
