Yes, I have thought the same but couldn't decide. Thanks for your suggestion.

I would just leave it the way it is...........the nipples blend in really well

S007 + S24

Credo 50 + HR23 shifted 18mm, top of the image show some pretty pronounce lines from LCC

Are you saying that the lines appeared after correction, or without correction? (I am assuming that LCC refers to a correction tool)

LCC I think stand of Lens Correction C....... I don't know what's the last C stand for. HR lens rear element is very close to the sensor, so the light ray entering the sensor micro lens is very steep, much like the Leica M which will then generate cyan/magenta hue at corners. And when you shift them, it will be even more pronounce and at extreme corners, this kind of artifact will come out, cause light is just not rendering the full detail.

Without correction, this image will look pretty bad. SLR lens design for shifting lens will be much better, but medium format choice for those are quite limited. I usually adapt Canon's TSE lens series, and they still allow 12mm full shifts on 44x33 sensor.

So sometimes, I think it's better just to use software to do Perspective correction, as in this case with the Leica S + S24 shots, and you can't really tell the difference and the result in my opinion is better.

Credo 50 + Alpa 12FPS + TSE17mm. A 500m tall tower taken with 1 shot from pedestrian interlink at about 10m above ground. No software perspective correction.
