I spent a day trying out different Elmarit R lenses on Canon 5D MKII. Welcome, dear visitor! FrancoisF Posted June 6, 2015 Share #5 Posted June 6, 2015 Iduna, The four pictures are great. The first with Elmarit R 90mm has a very shallow DOF but a beautiful bokeh on the upper right side. The 3 pictures with 60mm macro has more details because the lens has a shorter focus range. All the best. Francois

Northwest Wanderer Posted June 7, 2015 Share #12 Posted June 7, 2015 Iduna, Both lenses gave very good images. I'd go with the 90 if I had to pick one.
Iduna Posted June 10, 2015 Author Share #13 Posted June 10, 2015 thank you all, friends for your nice comments! Francois, yes the 90 mm is not ideal and I am afraid I forgot about the f-stop, I should have stopped doen also a bit more I think. I'll keep going with that particular lens... John, yes, these lenses are a pleasure to work with and each time it is a challenge. Paul, thank you so much for your reliable and nice support. It is always appreciated . John Z., interesting, the 90 mm is tricky and I am pleased you like no 1. Euston, I am happy you enjoy the series, thanks. Stuart, and there are many more....thanks. Henry, how nice to have your encouraging support, thank you. Bill, very nice, yes, the 90 is a very fine lens. I did not use it for some time. But now, also encouraged by Francois, I'll explore more of its potential. Thanks for leaving this advice. Button clicking and "liking" is nice, thank you all #
