Stuart, yes, and then getting the chance to "admire" the splendid looking results....no company will answer to the question how they get to shine but the PC will tell you the truth afterwards... Iduna Posted May 28, 2015 Author Share #7 Posted May 28, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Ileo, oooh, great! Thanks for your response! I would really like to know how the technical progress of Zeiss and a small sensor goes together, If we consider that the digital photography started with 1 MP we can only admire its development. Being a pioneer also is fun and certainly important. But this discussion is certainly not on this forum then... Leica and MFT works perfectly well, this is for sure! lleo Posted May 31, 2015 Share #9 Posted May 31, 2015 Hallo Iduna und entschuldigung für mein Verzögerung. As I wrote elsewhere, I always forget when I wrote something Well, that's not really a Obietkiv mounted on a handy, but my Nokia N8 which is still the best lens around. Surely better than the so-praised iPhone (I hope iPhone users don't get mad at me). The thing is this handy has a really big sensor, I think it's 1", if I remember good, that means is bigger than several cameras', pocket and reflex, out there. Anyway just yesterday I was reading a yearly photographic magazine from 2002. It's unbelievable how much the digitals progressed. But at the same time it's a problem. Consumerism. You use a camera for 6 months and it gets old. But in the most cases the older models are better than the newer. Well, sorry if I wrote alot. Now I'll go watch DTM
Bateleur Posted June 1, 2015 Share #10 Posted June 1, 2015 Fun images, Prague is certainly the place to capture people and their camera's! On a recent trip (a month ago) I encountered a photographer with his handbuilt from wood and brass pinhole camera. Regards Charles
Iduna Posted June 1, 2015 Author Share #11 Posted June 1, 2015 Paul, I am really glad to see you posting again. I hope all is well! Your comments are always a pleasure and encouragement. Ileo, thanks for writing again. Yes, even with a smartphone you can win the Sony Award. You are right, progress in a technicasl sense is always there but this does not mean the the photographer will make better pictures.... Charles, thanks for your response. Yes, Prague is a very photogenic and you can enjoy the manifold potential of street photography there. Pin hole camera is indeed interesting. Could you see any results or learn about the feeling to work with it?
