I am pleasantly surprised by the comments regarding the kind of white of the body. I was immediately struck with old memories of hospital hardware white. Are we of the same generation? To that, I can only feel a bit disturbed until I consider it Vanilla. :)

You're old enough to remember seams in the Nurses stockings.

One can enjoy nurses with stocking seams anew in certain non main stream films these days.

Let me add my welcome to the newbie. You will enjoy this forum of so many informed, skilled and entertaining members.

While a number have voiced not liking the white treatment,of your M3, it has a great story. Like it or hate it, if it was done by a noteworthy artist, I'd treasure it to be sure.

Ah, but I was a little kid looking upwards to the world.  I can tell you that the seam went up all the way to heaven.

Hi Guys

new to the forum as a member, although I have frequented it many times as a reference

signed up today

just wanted to upload some pictures of my white M3

interesting story behind it, Purchased it from a Japanese student that was here in Toronto

studying, she claims that a friend of her family, get this Yaginuma Shintaro painted the camera for her

although I have no documentation to back this up it's still gorgeous,

I was under the impression Mr. Shintaro only worked in black, has anyone ever seen a coloured

shintaro creation?

cheers

Hi Guys,

thanks for the replies, turns out it wasn't a shintaro after all, it has since found a new home and I am currently enjoying a black M6

cheers

...not exactly my taste, Carlo, but I respect plurality - kinda disappointing to hear it has been 'moved on', possibly because it wasn't a Shintaro. Enjoy your M6.
