I like to write short stories that go with some of my portraits. I shared this already on the SL forum so some of you may have already seen it. Apologies if you have. The blog post is here:

Love the Thambar for classic portraits. This one is the old Thambar in screw mount, it works wonderful on the Leica Monochrom (CCD)

Rob, your granddaughter has style and you have a fine camera.  That's a winning combination, to be sure!  Your photos are great!

Gotta tell you . . . . my bride of 49 years and I have three grandsons.  When the last was born, my wife was happy but I could tell something was amiss.  Finally, she admitted she'd love to have a granddaughter.  I asked why because, when we were just married, we wanted healthy children.  She said, "Michael, you don't understand.  There are no cute clothes for boys."  I hesitate to show her you pictures!  (Just kidding . . . she loves them!)

Mike,

Thank you for those nice comments!  I never could foresee how much fun grandchildren would be. I really cannot 'get enough' of them. As much as I love my granddaughter, my grandson is a blast as well. Here's one from the other day, and one from Halloween . . . .

He is starting to throw a football now and playing catch can be as much fun as making cookies. Really, though, it sounds like we are both quite lucky and fortunate in life.

Happy holidays to you.

Rob

One more with the Old Thambar in LTM mount and the Leica Monochrom (CCD)
