what a surprise to find our neighbour at night yawning in the basement vault of his private castle. He quickly jumped out of his coffin when he noticed me walking towards him. But before this could happen I managed to get a shot from him. Do you know this guy?

(p.s. just a joke. Before he agreed to the photo he was nibbling at my neck, sucked blood and we then discussed the recent Brexit development)

(p.p.s. real story: the photo shows a hologram of an actor taken at the Camera Obscura in Edinburgh😱 - I was unsure what the result would be)

My two granddaughter's who had just finished their first dance performance - no photo's allowed, probably a good job given their level of dancing ability😂, bless them.   Leica Q.

Political correctness gone mad!

It's a universal disease and I fail to see the benefit. Parents and grandparents are missing records of life's progression. (Old man's grmph!!)

I couldn't agree more, though apparently there was a professional photographer who was allowed to take photographs so I'm guessing us grandparents and parents will be given the opportunity to purchase some!!!  I thought the problem was images appearing on social media etc showing other peoples children.  Apparently that's ok as long as you have purchased their offerings, really!   School events are usually treated in the same way these days.

I'm not about to take on the fight against this but it is ridiculous and wrong in my opinion.   If it is used as a means to raise money then say so please.

Don't make anyone who would like to take a photo feel like some sad sicko who has dubious reasons for it.   (Old Nanny's grmph!!)
