I love the second version. The stars have much more impact and the inclusion of more water at the bottom emphasizes the beautiful moonlight reflection. It's amazing that you were able to do this on a ship's deck, even on calm water.

I wanted to capture the mood. This place is called the pass of the Bordelais (the captain from Bordeaux) who discovered it first between these two islands.
