blimey Posted December 2, 2014 Share #1 Posted December 2, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) I just ordered this sucker after looking at images and reading the good and the bad. I had a few gift cards that somewhat helped, but not much. For the owners, what kind of screen protector are you using? Thanks
Advertisement Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 Hi blimey, Take a look here Type 113 screen protector. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
gbealnz Posted December 2, 2014 Share #2 Posted December 2, 2014 Don't have the Type 113, wish I did, bought the X Vario instead, and am happy. I got a cheap but nice (glass too) protector, I recall it is marked for the Canon 1200 (I can check if you like). Fits perfectly, gives me peace of mind. AndreasB Posted December 2, 2014 Share #3 Posted December 2, 2014 I just ordered this sucker after looking at images and reading the good and the bad. I had a few gift cards that somewhat helped, but not much. For the owners, what kind of screen protector are you using? Thanks For my X1, X2, C my Garmin GPS and now the X113 I used always the following Vikuiti 3M - ADQC27-foil: Displayschutzfolien für Leica X | schutzfolien24.de Perhaps there is also a dealer for that in US?? It fits so perfect that even the Leica Service didn´t notice it when I sent the X2 to them. And its nearly unvisible. Usually it worked 2 years on each Camera without any problem. MAny greetings from Germany Andreas
spylaw4 Posted December 3, 2014 Share #4 Posted December 3, 2014 I've got a Vikuiti on my T, but I use an AC-Maxx on the 113, same one as the X-Vario.
shinglj Posted December 17, 2014 Share #5 Posted December 17, 2014 I am using Expert Shield screen protectors on both my X1 and my X Vario. The Expert Shield protector is virtually invisible and is made of a two layer plastic material and seems very scratch resistant. They make a protector specifically for the Leica M and the shield for the Canon 7D exactly fits the X Vario and the Fuji X10 shield exactly fits the X1 and presumably the X2.You can buy the Expert Shields directly from Expertshield.com
