Iduna Posted October 24, 2014 Share #9 Posted October 24, 2014 Gary, I agree with all the other: it is very cinematic with a touch of haunting character. Texture of the rocks feels very real.
A miller Posted October 26, 2014 Share #10 Posted October 26, 2014 exquisite, indeed, Rolo. I would just watch the halos around the house and around the left side of the rock in the back right
MarkP Posted October 26, 2014 Share #11 Posted October 26, 2014 Spectacular photograph artistically and technically, but I do agree with the comment about the halo around the house.
Rolo Posted October 26, 2014 Author Share #12 Posted October 26, 2014 exquisite, indeed, Rolo. I would just watch the halos around the house and around the left side of the rock in the back right Yes, it's there, but far less apparent, almost unnoticeable in the 80mb file and it's not significant in the web image, but the algorithm here that shows at 275kb rather exaggerates it somehow. I would never print it with that flaw. When I first uploaded it, I was in two minds whether to withdraw it. I think, I'll do that in future rather than submit less than perfect 300kb images. The limit of 302kb is so out of date and Adreas has told me he plans to change that. To what, I know not. Gary
