mike.schneier Posted September 24, 2014 Share #1 Â Posted September 24, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) I recently purchased an R4S and I have been having some issues with the light meter. When shooting outdoors with 100 speed ISO my meter has been saying I am over exposed even at F 16. Also when I open and close the aperture there is no change in the light meter reading. I have replaced the battery but still have had the same issue. Any advice on this issue? Thanks
wagner Posted September 25, 2014 Share #2 Â Posted September 25, 2014 Hi Mike! Â It looks, as if the leaver for the aperture-control is not moving. It's "sticking" in open position, probably because the leaver is slightly bent and is not catched the by the lens "aperure ring". Â To test, if the aperture control works in principal, try to move the leaver - on the botton - carefull with your finger. In the viewfinder you should then see then the change of the speeds. wildlightphoto Posted September 25, 2014 Share #3 Â Posted September 25, 2014 A very basic question, apologies if this is too obvious - does the lens have the R metering cam?
