Sandokan Posted June 29, 2014 Share #1 Â Posted June 29, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Do you think there are any plans to put the viewfinder from the M (the best I have come across with even more contrast to the rangefinder screen than the Zeis Ikon ZI) into a film camera? If they did, I would buy it immediately.
jaapv Posted June 29, 2014 Share #2 Â Posted June 29, 2014 Everything is possible, but I would class this as rather unlikely. For one thing they do need power for the frame line LED and it would need a redesign to accommodate the thinner body.
250swb Posted June 29, 2014 Share #3 Â Posted June 29, 2014 I'd buy one if they could also fit some sort of device that would replace the film with an electronic gizmo that records light. A camera that you don't need to constantly load with film would be the perfect film camera. Â Steve

That one is sculpted from stainless steel and comes with a bonus Monochrom and three Summiluxes! Currently only available as part of the very limited set but who knows what design might become serial production the future? It is a Photokina year. farnz Posted July 2, 2014 Share #5 Â Posted July 2, 2014 Ravi, Â If you mean swapping the optical parts of a film M's vf out and replacing them with those from the M then I agree. Â Pete.
