I have a feeling this beauty is frequently photographed while lying on her perch suction cupped to the window of a downtown apartment.

Brent,

an excellent appealing picture. The precise focus and the soft fur are the elemnts of this fine portrait. B&W is adding to it very much, specially to the light effect.

Hello Brent.

This cat is absolutely gorgeous and she knows this. Most likely she belongs to the Actors Guild of America;as the excellent posing indicates .She feels that light. Brilliantly photographed. Greetings: John Basso.

John and Bill, thanks very much.

Just for kicks, I thought I'd post the full view I had when walking past this apartment. The light was being filtered by trees.

Brent,

the second framing is even better. Interesting that you could get such an excellent picture by that large cropping. Which lens did you use?.

Hi Iduna--I took these with my DLux6. The original post wasn't cropped from the color version I just posted. They are actually separate shots. For the tighter version, I walked closer to the window and zoomed to about 70mm. The wider shot was kind of an afterthought as I was leaving. I shot it at about 28mm. Sorry for the confusion.
