pauledell Posted May 6, 2014 Share #2 Posted May 6, 2014 Brent, A fine pair. I like the way you framed the building with the tulips. The second is lovely with the vivid colors. Paul
Louis Posted May 6, 2014 Share #3 Posted May 6, 2014 Brent, I like both of them. Your framing of the first shot is superb; but I prefer the second one because of the colors and the joyful mood it gives. A fine flower shot! :
Hank Taylor Posted May 6, 2014 Share #4 Posted May 6, 2014 Brent agree with Louis your shots are well taken and #2 is my favorite hank
platypus Posted May 7, 2014 Share #5 Posted May 7, 2014 What really lovely light! In the first shot the lush flower group creates such an interesting contrast framing the facade of the imposing grey building, so the shot works really well. The tulip featured in the second shot is so beautifully transparent that it works brilliantly as a stand alone floral portrait.

Iduna Posted May 7, 2014 Share #7 Posted May 7, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Brent, two great tulip compositions. The first one is a refreshing sight with a stunning new perspective. New inspiration for the Gvt. The second one is a perfect portrait with a rich yellow being brightly illuminated. Fine excellent work!
stuny Posted May 7, 2014 Share #8 Posted May 7, 2014 Brent - You mean you were only 240 miles way from me and you didn't drop it? Beautiful shot.
fotografr Posted May 7, 2014 Author Share #9 Posted May 7, 2014 Thanks Iduna and Stuart. Stuart, a bit more than 250 miles. This is our state capitol building in Madison.
woorob Posted May 7, 2014 Share #10 Posted May 7, 2014 Madison -- one of the best places in the US. Three generations of my family were educated at UW and my father taught there for a short while. The Capitol building and grounds are indeed glorious. I think I'll have to make a visit soon!
