T to stand for...

I'm still thinking of why Leica has been given a "T" to their new camera lineup. Maybe the T's origin comes from "T" for "T"ouchscreen? But then this wouldn't be a german word like the "M" for "M"esssucher.

 

Any other ideas why a "T" has been chosen?

No idea.... But are you going to replace the X2 from your wife???? Would be nice for Istanbul!

 

 

Leica T with yellow cover and strap would fit like a glove. Unfortunately there's no EVF in the desired color available - yet. ;-)

Thank You. It delivers what most of us were waiting for.

A Leica implementation of a fully electronic interchangeable lens body, with a viewfinder, able to use all Leica lenses and to serve as a perfect back-up to the M.
