lct Posted June 28, 2014 Share #341 Posted June 28, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) - 2.0.0.15 and 2.0.0.12 are the same files so far. Both have the same size and trying to install them gives the same result, i.e. nothing. - 2.0.15 (if it keeps this number) will have a larger size and will contain significant improvements. Advertisement Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 Hi lct, Take a look here New Firmware on May 24th. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
tookaphotoof Posted June 28, 2014 Share #342 Posted June 28, 2014 I'm actually pretty amazed what we Leica addicts can discuss sometimes. From questions if the battery charger lights work logical to if a leaked link for the firmware is the right one to have. A few more days won't hurt the wait, would it? It's not good for ones heart to be stressed out about these things.

From questions if the battery charger lights work logical to if a leaked link for the firmware is the right one to have. A few more days won't hurt the wait, would it? It's not good for ones heart to be stressed out about these things. Let's be glad, then, that the charger does not use any firmware. (AFAIK)
Exodies Posted June 28, 2014 Share #344 Posted June 28, 2014 Oh didn't you know? The new firmware adds a file to the battery which updates the charger next time you charge it. It changes the text on the 80% lamp to 100%.
pop Posted June 28, 2014 Share #345 Posted June 28, 2014 You must be mistaken. The latest rumors have it that it will signal the completion of the charge with smoke signals.
TheGodParticle/Hari Posted June 28, 2014 Share #346 Posted June 28, 2014 You must be mistaken. The latest rumors have it that it will signal the completion of the charge with smoke signals. I'm sure this will be a shortsighted approach and it will not have an Auto ISO feature You will have to click a button to find out if it's fully charged or not
pop Posted June 28, 2014 Share #347 Posted June 28, 2014 Advertisement (gone after registration) Yes, but it will have an LED light for signaling the OOS condition (Out Of Smoke).
jto555 Posted June 29, 2014 Share #348 Posted June 29, 2014 Out of smoke? The you need to go to here: Lucas Replacement Smoke Kit I don't know if its compatabile do.
grillo Posted June 29, 2014 Share #349 Posted June 29, 2014 I hate the new smoke signalling. I can't see it very well. For the next version they should auto-switch back to led if you have the diopter installed.
farnz Posted June 29, 2014 Share #350 Posted June 29, 2014 Coloured smoke might be the answer like the Red Arrows use. Pete.

I think the battery is fully charged but then I find the OH has just lit up another Camel!

Rick Posted June 29, 2014 Share #356 Posted June 29, 2014 viramati, you seem to have a pretty good track record on these things. What is your impression? Fact or Rumor? I'm going to guess rumor. See you Monday!
genefama Posted June 29, 2014 Share #357 Posted June 29, 2014 I'm going to say leicarumours is right: It'll either be on Monday or it'll be later. Or I'll trust Leica's new official announcement page, Henny Hoogeveen's Dutch Facebook wall. At least we know that's not "supposed."
