Â I'd be sure that there is a warranty/return policy given the large discount attributed to 'micro cleaning marks' identified by technical testing, but apparently not yet real picture taking. And I'd check references as the seller suggests. Â Also, since the seller has a hardware business, I would explore purchase by credit card, which would provide you with recourse if there is a problem. While this might be an innocent discount to encourage a sale I would be inclined to proceed with the utmost caution considering the amount of money involved, the rarity of the lens and such a large discount.  Pete.
