viramati Posted December 2, 2013 Share #3224 Posted December 2, 2013 Oh if it was so simple. something has come loose inside and the whole front section just wobbles around. Luckily I bought the zeiss/sony 35/2.8 which though slow in comparison seems a great little lens. The CV 35 will have to go off for a service tomorrow

photosynthesia Posted December 3, 2013 Share #3229 Posted December 3, 2013 M' not that good on technical things. So I just ask. It's seems like the Sensor is able to to resolute (right word?) more details than the lense? The crop is that much charming n smooth. I'm impressed. Rick Posted December 3, 2013 Share #3234 Posted December 3, 2013 quick somebody 911 to Erwin Puts wish I had a six pack for every one who infered I was an idiot for touting the sony, then bought the camera LOL Hey, I put my order in 5-minutes after the end of the live video release on the web. Had nothing to do with you and I certainly don't think you are an idiot... don't be so hard on yourself. But, if you are up my way I'll by you a pint anyway. By the way, this is a really nice camera just shooting it around the house tonight. I can't tell too much just looking at the camera screen so, it will be interesting to shoot the M240, RX1, and the A7R this weekend and then getting a chance to see them on a big screen. One thing, shooting these three cameras tonight at 2500-6400 ISO and at 35mm...I realize again that the RX1 is just an amazing camera. The Leica can't quite keep up at ISO. I'm not sure yet how the A7R with the 35 LUX FLE fits in... certainly, color at higher ISO is real nice.

Just to pick up on Rick's comment above, have a look at the detail on these aerialshots I took from a helicopter with the RX1; also keep in mind that they're taken with only a 35mm lens: Zenfolio | Mike Kirkinis | SONY RX1 | Photo
