Advertisement Posted April 13, 2007 Posted April 13, 2007 Hi jmr, Take a look here Nostell Priory. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
biglouis Posted April 13, 2007 Share #2 Posted April 13, 2007 Nice capture. I like the different shades of light and the way the daffodil heads are almost burned into the picture. LouisB
ejd Posted April 13, 2007 Share #3 Posted April 13, 2007 A very interesting side view. Strangely surprising to see here this very familiar place -- I've seen it many times, having grown up in Wakefield. I continue to be very impressed by your pictures taken with the C-lux
stuny Posted April 13, 2007 Share #4 Posted April 13, 2007 John - Excellent angle, and the flowers in the foreground set-off the builing quite well. Lovely tonal range, contrast, details and depth as usual.

billh Posted April 13, 2007 Share #6 Posted April 13, 2007 That little touch of sun really did make this picture. You have a good eye!
JE Posted April 14, 2007 Share #7 Posted April 14, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) As mentioned above, great lighting. The shadows cast make this photo standout. Nicely composed. Jonathan
arthury Posted April 17, 2007 Share #8 Posted April 17, 2007 Very attractive tones. Was this film or digital?
jmr Posted April 17, 2007 Author Share #9 Posted April 17, 2007 Guys, thank you, all. I'm pleased at how the shot came out - it was almost directly into the sun, but I got a little shade for the lens from the branches. It was the really bright daffodils which caught my attention, I was tempted by colour, but stayed true Arthur - it's a C-Lux shot.
