Rolo Posted April 12, 2007 Share #1 Posted April 12, 2007 Advertisement (gone after registration) Please enjoy a view of this quite remote spot. Spent the night in the back of my estate car and couldn't arise at dawn after a bad night's sleep. Nevertheless, got a few images in before breakfast. Thanks for looking, Rolo

rob_x2004 Posted April 13, 2007 Share #4 Posted April 13, 2007 Yes, and I should imagine the print is something else. Even on my screen I can see some of the mists are up the valley and much closer than the mountain they curtain.
JE Posted April 13, 2007 Share #5 Posted April 13, 2007 Rolo, this is one of my favorite that I've seen here on the forum. Your photo does justice to what I am sure is a beautiful place. Incredible depth and scope. The expanse you've covered is rendered in wonderful clarity, tone and detail. Well done. Jonathan

Guest WPalank Posted April 15, 2007 Share #15 Posted April 15, 2007 I agree with Andy. I would love to see this in print (exhibition). I'm amazed that your work is not commisioned by the Scottish tourism board.
azzo Posted April 15, 2007 Share #16 Posted April 15, 2007 Another fabulous shot. You should have an exhibition. Rolo, If you ever hold one, please let me know. It would be a very good excuse to visit England. Azzo
Rolo Posted April 15, 2007 Author Share #17 Posted April 15, 2007 Guys, It's so nice to receive your encouragement. I really do appreciate it. I completely enjoy the pursuit of capturing and sharing these images, love the technical side and am infatuated with the owwnership aspects. It's been very important to me for many years. Thank you all for your appreciation. I've sold a couple via http://www.Alamy.com to the tourist board, but please understand there are many very competent photographers feeding that market and the demand is principally for colour and my habit is B&W. I have sold this to the Tourist Board. http://www.leica-camera-user.com/landscape-travel/16755-new-dawn.html Here's another one from a small series that has sold several times. Thanks again.
