dwbell Posted September 7, 2013 Share #1 Posted September 7, 2013 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Ok, so I often choose the X100s over my M240 and 35 cron. I bash the software engineers at Leica. I pour scorn on the mindless marketing people at Leica. I'm critical of their mentality to 'photography' in itself and their stupid obsession with hout couture, celebrity and elitism. But sweet mother if that camera can put out some superb files. My canon L system, my Fuji system, nothing comes close to these files. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/624443/M240_Pinks.jpg Too big to post embedded and you have to see it full size. Once I've profiled a camera I'll go to a local gardeners store and check colour reproduction as their displays are often colour keyed (themed) and have a large variance of the same basic primary. Also I choose a sunny day to get hot highlights to understand the sensors response. This is such a test shot - no artistic merit whatsoever claimed. This has my personal colour and luminance profile applied - mostly I hate the level of contrast coming off all my cameras raws and general apply a specific "anti S curve" in raw to get where I want it. This is pretty close to where I'm happy now. Edited September 7, 2013 by dwbell

dwbell Posted September 7, 2013 Author Share #2 Posted September 7, 2013 Note: Mobile devices won't show you the full file. This is a desktop thing. Best is to download it and view 100% in your editing program of choice.
