The seller told me it had the upgrade and they changed the shutter too. I have the upgrade proof and all.. but I was wondering if they reset the shutter count? He told me not but I'm not sure.. How long does the shutter last from the M8u? thanks As far as I know they do not reset the shutter count during shutter repair/change. My M8 had shutter repair and the shutter count was not touched. Get the free program called M8 Info. Take one of your first pictures and drag (raw file) into the program. Then take the last photo and do the same. Subtract the first number from the second. Simpler. Look at the file numbers from when you got it until now. In the alternative: If you know the shutter count when you got the camera you can access the hidden menu to see how many you put on it. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
