Post your Leica X Vario photos here...

(moderators - can you move this thread to where it should be on the forum, and pin this thread in the "Leica X1 / Leica X2" forum like the X1 and X2 photo threads have been pinned? Thanks!)

There has been so much discussion about the merits of the X Vario, but it's time for some real world photos to show what this beauty can do!

Look at the car picture, this is the closest to 3D you can get. Amazing Vario. Beautiful pictures

I just bought this camera yesterday..... take the time to familiarize yourself and it will reward you with excellent pictures.

I also work with my M9-P and the M Monochrom

All the details of this picture is in the meta tags

Indee. It took me less than 2 hours to discover how powerful this photographic tool can be

This will be my last picture to give a chance to others to post there findings with the X Vario.

This morning I wanted to test the auto white balance on the camera..... this shot was taken under the kitchen pantry lit by fluorescents.

The specs are: ISO 800, F4.5, 1/60 and zoom set the equivalent of 38mm handheld.

Please post more. Your pics are just deliciously beautiful

Some great photos but for the money I can't help but think a 5D mk3 makes more all round sense.

I got the 5d MK-III Bill, with a lens that match the one on the X Vario you'll be paying above 5 Ks, your neck will hurt as hell and at like me, you'll end up not wanting to carry it around due to the bulk and weight. No to mention the extra lenses you'll want to have with the passing days. One wide, one macro one 35mm... Not for everyday, not for outdoors not practical believe me.

The potential of the Vario besides its outstanding IQ, it it's size and lens that itself it does it all including breathtaking macros...it's the perfect permanent escort.

Green Man behind the choir stalls in Winchester Cathedral. Uncropped and gently developed in ACR.

Full zoom wide open performed well. Moderately high ISO presented no problems. The picture might have been a little crisper if I had been able to use a tripod.

Here we go, 2 portraits and 1 macro all OOC.

I'm having too much problems posting to this forum.

other than commenting, I've been unable to post any pics. don't know about this one yet, hope it will make it through!

The camera is a stunner, forget about reviews and charts guys, this is beyond that. What this camera is capable of exceeds the sum of its specs. seeing is believing.

enjoy

I rescued this beautiful guy out of a sewer and he paid me back by posing to my X Vario.

OOC color. This is cinematic isn't it?

I just love this camera!
