Wonderful atmosphere in this picture, like it a lot!

Great catch! I'm wondering, did you get some fries after the shot or where the fries thrown at you? The look in her eyes could lead to either reaction, I suppose...

Your results are very encouraging to try out C41 development at home. I was unaware till now and as long as I can get a roll of film developed with small prints for less than 3€, didn't feel the need to try it out. But in the last months I was a bit disappointed, as my rolls came back with scratches more than once.

From me today a picture from a site that was the source of many cruelties during WWII, the Peenemünde Army Research Center, where the V2 missiles and other rockets have been developed. The wonderful light I saw during my visit there this October couldn't be in a bigger contrast to the deadly output from this location. Maybe it would be more appropriate to photograph such places on black&white film only?

I'm a colour person and this is great. One can see some similarity to the rocket in Objectif Lune...

The more I look at this the more I appreciate the sublime colors.  Really well done.  You might, however, consider tilting the verticals just a tad as they don't look straight on my computer...

Thanks, Adam — you are absolutely right.  I struggle with the verticals. I wish M-A  had a simple architectural grid in the viewfinder, giving me something like my old Nikons and Rolleiflex, otherwise I will have to resort to a tripod and bubble level or look into fixing converging verticals in LR.  I shot a lot of my bunker series on a tripod with very little problem with verticals. Thanks for noticing; it’s something that drives me up the wall. Ha, Ha, Ha!

very cool, James.  Would love to be there and see that in person.

Whenever you happen to visit Germany, feel free to drop me a note and I would really like to take you there. It is only a good two hours drive from Berlin and as this site is located at the Baltic Sea, there are many more photographic opportunities around :)

More from old Taranto. The Ape (bee) is pretty good to zip through the old buldings!

One of the best engine notes ever - a Porsche air-cooled flat-six at full throttle. :)   Pentax ME Super, E6.

Very nice.  The only question I would have is whether the scooter is in real life red or orange (I am guessing red).  I might consider then slightly tweak the WB accordingly...

The scooter was red but I think I am allowed a little artistic latitude to reinterpret 😀

Hi for me it's rather orange than red  !

Kod Gold is a little  "yellowish"  when you use at 200 Isos

You must try to develop normally and see  in comparison with increasing dev time

which brings  more contrast and grain ,  if that's what you like

Think the negatives would have been too thin if I developed normally. I shot a roll at the rated speed and will develop it normally and see what it might look like. I tried adjusting levels in Lightroom but I can't quite get the red I remember seeing.

Love it, Marc.  Fantastic contrast between the very white clothing and very dark skin.
