The architecture looks impressive Antonio, and I like the tones you've been getting from pushed HP5.

I like the flexibility of HP5 pushed to 1600 and I'm happy with the dev times I have been using with HC-110. I'll have to try it at 800 as well. Maybe 9-10 mins.

Inspired by a brief conversation concerning photos of the mundane, I took the Minox out to document holiday trappings in a local town.

These Wayne's pictures , you like or not.... in my case I like !

Why ? they have a soul perhaps , not possible to reproduce in digital

it's even "anti digital"  where everything is perfect , net....

... imperfect that's what makes it unique impossible to imitate it

and that's why I like

I've mostly been pushing HP5 to 800 for my recent rolls, and I use 9 mins for HC110-B.  I haven't shot as much at 1600 lately, but should as I generally prefer the more contrasty negatives.

This black and white is gorgeous! [emoji1303]

This is a section of the Lachine Canal, near Montreal.

The St Lawrence River is the major water route to the centre of North America. There is a rapids just up river from Montreal (at Lachine), which required building a canal in the 18th century. Over the years the old canal has been replaced with ever larger waterways, but this is part of Canada’s story.

We are concentrated currently on staying warm – we are in the middle of a serious deep freeze. I woke up to –30C.

This is quite nice Michael.  I've never been up to Montreal in the winter, hoping to change that this year.  It was -25C here this morning, getting a bit harder to convince myself to get out shooting these days...

Fabulous image, Brendan

Thanks Steve!

Not dust spots; flecks of snow :).  0 degrees during a four hour walk. Only difficulty was VERY stiff grease in old Leica lenses. Oddly enough, no cold related problems at all with Russian stuff................Kalashnikov cameras.

Inspired from all the London pictures here some of my oldest stuff. London in spring 1979. I was a school boy in these days and this was the fifth film in my first camera, a Canon AE-1. Still had to learn to keep the camera in level. The negatives are in a poor condition, as you can see. But I decided to leave it at it is.

Color is nice at this period Frank
