Hahah well on Gotland it's either the one or the other. What appears to be an island on the horizon made me think west coast. I had a feeling it would be the 21 SA. That's one I would love to own.

Thanks Philipus, this was taken on the east side of Gotland. Possibly Katthammarsvik. The lens I am sure of - 21mm Super Angulon 3.4. :))

Wonderful story I think. And it reminds me a bit of what they say about the rabbits on Gotland. They have so much fun because they are so many. And they are so many because they have so much fun :D

Thank you, Xicara, Marc and Philip, much appreciated. I know doing sunsets is a guilty pleasure, but I just couldn't resist the magic of the place.   If you have asked yourself why the caption "Swan-Stone":  there are several "Schwanensteine" , big boulders of scandinavian granite on this coast. The background, I was told, is a variant of the  story of the stork bringing the babies. In this part of the world, the babies live in the Swan-stone, and are, when the time has come, brought to the parents by the wild swans that are abundant on the coast.... 🦢👶....🤫

This is the kind of photo that sends my mind off onto a tangent to somewhere. I see modern buildings there, sure, but imagine the landscape several hundreds of years ago. Something similar to this is what travellers would have seen from far away as they approached. It boggles the mind to think of how the world has changed.

I love reflections,  layers, shadows and light competing for my attention, making my head spin and my phantasy trail off.. where are the electrons the radio valve once saw now   and who will wear the gown one day, if that day ever comes..perhaps its now time for a cool bud, there must be a bar on this street...

Rog, sometimes it´s good to go back in this ever faster moving thread to find the gems among the pebbles  ... village chatter and radio show among them...

hard to nail  what makes this special: for me it the sinus curved shadow on the green structure, probably a window frame in real life. But real life doesn't count here, here it´s about hidden realities. Realities behind the surface. The shadow  playing with  the straight line, leaving a curve behind, melting into a fuzzy shadow...

Dunno. I just take it for the colors, the structures, the balance of the spaces... very nice. But than I realize the disparity of the  artworks beauty and the scruffy reality... so, perhaps: yes.

Thanks, Klaus. Yes. I'm beginning to "accept" it. I think part of the problem was that I discovered I bought it (on ebay) from someone who wasn't a photographer and couldn't answer a follow up question. So, I became convinced that I should have bought from someone more invested in the product, and one minor concern then lead to another. Thanks for this.

This is with it M4-P 35 FLE and Kodak Proimage 100 in Unicolor (standard development). The 2nd with 43mm on Mamiya 7 Portra 160 in Unicolor (standard). From the way the windows open, I must have scanned the wrong side of the film.
