Cologne #1

Once a year or so I make a trip to the town where my ancestry comes from. Though terribly destroyed in the war, there still is a special atmosphere--for me.

Doing mainly Delta 100 and 400, I was amazed how well the 100 Acros II  in D76 coped with the excessive contrast on this summer day.  A pity  it is nearly double the price of the Deltas. But perhaps Brexit will lower the threshold for buying Acros...😟

really nice, Klaus! I've not had nearly such look with Acros II, try as I might. Maybe another developer.... (I've tried HC110 and Ilf 3; D76 is currently out in most places in the US.)

Ken, thank you for your acknowledgment. If you have the opportunity to get some D76: I used the 1:1 solution, time according to Massive Dev Chart. Agitation also according to Massive Dev.

Rog, it is nice to find the origins of  elements of earlier assemblages in a photo--it is like looking over your shoulder into the process of your otherwise miraculous work--or dare I say like meeting Michelangelo in the quarry while he is laying his eyes on  a block of marblestone ? 😇

Cologne #2

Birds of the night meeting at the cathedral. Hell knows what they are doing there--probably having a party. Couldn't see if they were wearing masks though...
