BUT we need to consider that he's not wearing either, simply hiding behind a life-size cardboard cut-out with nothing more than a lens opening. At least, a plausible theory until we see FM's last posting, "Hold Up on the Strand!" There is good reason to cower in the shadow of FM.

Conceptually, I applaud the move of the shadow off the subject, asserting a kind of autonomy, definition of the FM as an entity in his own right. "We are nothing without our shadow."

This is... brilliant! You’ve taken it to a new level, Rog. Now, looking at this, I can’t UNsee Malevich sitting at his desk.

I'd really like to share images from my (new) Flickr account so apologies if this doesn't work!

Wow - that was easy!  This is, yet again, from my 'Lower Don Valley' project, taken with my Mamiya C220 and 55mm f/2.8 on Ilford FP4.  I love the detail available in it, especially what looks like a dot in the darkness of the tunnel but is, in fact, a floating dandelion seed, catching the sunlight :)

I´ve been coming back to this picture- the mixture of sharpness and haze is fascinating-the green halos are the -albeit toxic- cherries on the cake...

now where there is a desk-there must be a chair. Why do I see Rietveld lurking around the corner ?

A "Hail Mary" shot - composed at eye level, and then the camera c-a-r-e-f-u-l-l-y lifted to arms length over my head to balance the parts (bit less brush, more river).

Quite a feat---you had to consider not only the inclination but also the tilt... Probably St. Mary steadied your hand.... ☺️ Or is there another saint for photographers ?

Well done Andy. I just saw on the interwebz that apparently St Veronica is the patron saint of photographers. I would have thought it's St Barbara, the saint of artillery, due to the act of "shooting". In any event, you nailed it with this one.
