Doc Henry Posted December 1, 2015 Author Share #8204 Posted December 1, 2015 After my "experimental" image with interesting colors and stunning light leaks, I wanted to show you something more natural. Made with the Mamiya 645 1000s with Sekor-C 80 @2,8 on Portra 160. For scanning I used my Leica X Vario again. I must say that I am impressed by the details, medium format delivers. One might say, it produces an almost "digital" output - but I love it as much as the portrayed lady Bild-1-252.jpg James stunning portrait Best Henry

A miller Posted December 1, 2015 Share #8207 Posted December 1, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) Thanks again Adam. I'll look into it that tomorrow. Got a roll of 3200 delta in at the moment, but this TX400 at 800 and Dev at 1250ish sounds like a perfect plan. Can't wait. . Bruce - don't know if this could be helpful to you, but here are some examples of Tri-X that was exposed at 800 and developed at 1250... Welcome, dear visitor! For anyone to answer. I called Richard Photo Lab, they do not push in half stops. So the closest I can get for this effect is if I shot Tri-X (400) at 800 and asked them to develop with a 2 stop push? (Essentially developing at 1600.) Also, 400 shot at 800; developed at 1250 is a 1.5 stop push? Edited December 1, 2015 by thebarnman
Guest Benqui Posted December 1, 2015 Share #8212 Posted December 1, 2015 When we talk about pushing, I am a fan of the Tmax 400. You can push it very high without any problems: Tmax 400 pushed up to 6400, HCD 80/50 developer Welcome, dear visitor! Keith (M) Posted December 1, 2015 Share #8213 Posted December 1, 2015 According to the MassiveDev app, Tri-X in Rodinal R09 @ 1:50 (my preferred developer) at ISO 800 = 16min 30sec, whereas ISO 1600 = 18min 30sec. So ISO 1250 would = ... With a more standard dev, again from the MassiveDev app, Tri-X in D76 (1+1) @ ISO 800 = 9min 45sec whereas ISO 1600 = 13min 15sec. Maybe that helps?
