I've never been able to completely let go of film, I like it too much. Even if I only shoot and process a little now and then these days, it is always very satisfying.

Processed in the Agfa Rondix 35 using my now-standard film methodology: HC-110 @ 1:50 from concentrate, temp 68°F, 8 minutes. Scanned with Nikon Coolscan V ED and VueScan. Imported and finished in Lightroom v6.3. 

 

Very interesting snipet of what looks to be a painted lane in a street?  Pretty impressive detail and contrast.  Look forward to seeing more of your photos.

Thanks Adam - but they hardly compare with the power and sheer epic scale of your New York large-format images!  Anyway, here is a closer view of the arches of Chateau Chenonceau (same camera/lens/film as previous).

Oh, I don't know, Keith.  I am truly inspired by the photos that you and many others post on this thread.  This is one of the unique aspects of the thread - the source of inspiration and sharing of information and interest regarding film.  I see that the thread has now even more views that the old M8 thread on this sub-forum, and it has to be one of the (if not THE) most viewed threads on the entire forum.  For good reason...

This one is nice. It has an organic feel and I like also that it is not very clear what it is.

One more from Tuesday.  Dusk begins to fall on the Neolithic ramparts at Avebury. IIIg, 5cm Summicron + yellow filter, Acros 100 rated @ ISO 80, so metering at ISO 50!

Great pair of images, Adam - lots of life in both of them!  I think I would be tempted to remove the section of trunk bottom RHS of the red leaves shot.

Thanks, Keith.  Your reaction is spot on with what I've been struggling with as well.  But I just haven't found a way to minimize that portion of the trunk without interfering too much with the flow of the red branches.  Here is a slight crop.  I think I have to stare at it to determine whether it really adequately addresses the problem...

wow, the tonal range (and selective use of shadows and light) in the valley is really well done...

Yes, I did realise it was going to be somewhat problematic to remove it without spoiling the impact from and position of the red leaves.  Your v2 is perhaps optimal (unless you suddenly demonstrate high level cloning skills!)   ;)

Chuck a pebble anywhere in that area, and it'll hit something neolithic. Amazing area.

Very interesting silhouette. I can imagine many MM owners using Silver Efex to try to get this effect on their images.

The 'Torre' in Torre La Sal, a hamlet on the Med a 100km or so N of Valencia.  IIIg, 5cm Summicron + yellow filter, Acros 100 rated @ ISO 80.
