Artichoke Posted April 4, 2007 Share #8 Posted April 4, 2007 thanks for showing these gorgeous flowers I believe you took these without an ir/cut filter which renders the leaves a bit yellow to my eye (most evident in #2) I have been struggling with this & find the chrome C1 profile from Jamie Roberts gives the best color rendition without the filter, but I think the filters really make a big difference with foliage greens, though of course color is a difficult matter to dispute such criticism is a bit out of place for these fine photographs, but I think for anyone doing florals, the ir/cut is essential that said I enjoyed seeing these fine flowers from a magical place Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

After your remark I compared with Noriko's photo of the very same flowers (see photo 2 in this forum thread), and indeed there appears to be a difference. Thank you for your interesting comment.
