I spoke to a man who maintains the London Eye and he told me that they test the wheel every night by running at fast as it will go and if there are no snaps, twangs, cracks or crunches then it's good to go for the next day. They normally let the passengers off before they test but when it's an employee's birthday ... Â M8, 35/f2, ISO 160. Â Pete.
