earleygallery Posted June 26, 2013 Share #82 Posted June 26, 2013 I have a Pentax Spotmatic F with several Super Takumar lenses, fine performers they are too! I must give it a spin soon.
marknorton Posted June 26, 2013 Share #83 Posted June 26, 2013 Is the wear along the front top edge of that black camera as bad as it looks? I think I'd prefer matt black instead of gloss if I was doing it. I'd be interested in a picture of the adjustment behind the red dot to see if it's changed. Hi Mark, The RF adjustment on M240 is really close to the surface. Need to put on the camera cover to depress it.

So Mark, what do you say, has it changed? It looks like a regular hex screw to me, or would you still need that special eccentric tool do adjust it? The same size hex screw that is used to adjust the rangefinder cam where the lens meets, also fits the slot beneath the red dot
Hookeye Posted June 28, 2013 Share #89 Posted June 28, 2013 Some more shots of the beast. Still I cannot make out precisely what tool would be required to tame it... Welcome, dear visitor! Hookeye Posted June 28, 2013 Share #90 Posted June 28, 2013 The same size hex screw that is used to adjust the rangefinder cam where the lens meets, also fits the slot beneath the red dot Spot on Salander! I tried it and adjusting it went like a breeze. Thanks!
